Christopher Macken

Director & Writer

Christopher Macken is an award-winning director & writer from Springfield, MA. After graduating from Emerson College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in film production, Christopher relocated to Los Angeles, CA where he became Charlie Day’s right hand man— assisting him on various projects from New Line Cinema’s Fist Fight, Legendary’s Pacific Rim: Uprising to FOX’s Cool Kids, and eventually becoming a Co-Producer on Charlie’s feature film debut El Tonto. 

Christopher has shadowed many comedic television directors from Maurice Marable to Pete Chatmon on various projects ranging from FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to FOX’s The Mick to ABC’s The Goldbergs. With a background in comedy, Christopher hopes to explore his own struggle with OCD in a more dramatic and stylized-sense with this film.

Kenzen Takahashi

Director of Photography

Kenzen Takahashi is a cinematographer based out of San Francisco. He got his start as a union grip, learning to light from renowned professionals on productions such as Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, The Matrix Resurrections, and All the Old Knives. From there, Kenzen went to shoot short films, music videos, commercials, and most recently, a feature film starring Shiloh Fernandez and John Farley. 

Kenzen’s work has been featured in articles by Sony and DoPchoice. His following on social media continues to grow as people delve into his insight on the craft of cinematography.

Jillian Nordby

Producer 

Jillian Nordby is a LA-based producer with roots in the Bay Area. She has worked under showrunners and producers on shows like Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, Sony’s Venom 2, and FX Networks’ It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Season 15). She recently produced a short film, “Cabin for Two,” that was featured in 16 film festivals internationally, winning seven awards, and selling to DUST/ ALTER. 

Jillian is currently working as a Coordinating Producer on an FX Networks Limited Series starring Steve Carell. She is developing a collaborative production company, Door30three, so she can produce more narrative and creative works.

Sierra Oleson

Producer 

Sierra Oleson is a producer from Sonoma County. She has worked in various positions on larger productions such as 13 Reasons Why and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Recently, the  award-winning short film Cabin for Two that she produced was purchased by the streaming service DUST.  

Sierra currently lives in Los Angeles, where she produces, writes, and continues to work in the film industry. She is developing the production company Door30three and is excited to tell new and meaningful stories with filmmakers who believe in them.

Ellah Seno

Associate Producer

Ellah Seno is a producer based out of Los Angeles, CA. She found her love of being on a film and television set by getting her start as background actor on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why. She recently coordinated a short film with AFI named End of Day which is currently in post-production. She has worked multiple positions on various productions, most recently on a FX Limited Series called The Patient. Ellah’s creative and positive outlook is a driving force on her various projects.

Avery Chung-Melino

Producer of Marketing & Distribution

Avery Chung-Melino is a digital marketer by day and is a producer and production designer by night. Her passion for visual and written storytelling led her to filmmaking, where her focus is on projects that explore womanhood and cultural identity in America. She’s worked on projects for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dang Foods, and Apple. She was president of UC Berkeley’s longest-running film club, GiANT Filmmakers, and is an alumna of the cinema fraternity Delta Kappa Alpha. 

Denver Stoddard

Production Designer

Denver Stoddard is production designer based in LA. He got his start in art department working for award-winning team at Nomad Art, headed by John Richoux, leading a team to create elaborate sets for music videos starring J Balvin, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber. He has been working as a union on-set dresser for two years and taking what he learns from the accomplished designers he works for to pursue his own career. He has designed sets for music videos, commercials, short films and, most recently, online classes for Learn Monthly.

Lizz Wolf

Costume Designer

Known for her masterful work in costume design on such projects as Jupiter’s Legacy, Creed II, Rambo, Pacific Rim: Uprising, to The Expendables franchise, Lizz Wolf will be gracing our team to give our actors an iconic look on screen. Although Christopher and Lizz have worked together on Pacific Rim: Uprising and Charlie Day’s upcoming feature ‘El Tonto’, this will be the first time collaborating with Christopher in the directors’ seat.

Erik Groysman

Composer

Erik Groysman is a composer and record producer based in Los Angeles. Erik is known for his concept driven, genre-bending scores that create evocative atmospheres and heighten storytelling. His film and TV work have been featured on Drunk History, Promising Young Woman, Waffles + Mochi, and a handful of viral action sport videos. He recently finished scoring “I Am DB Cooper,” a feature length documentary/narrative about the world’s only unsolved plane hijacking, that is premiering at the Seattle International Film Festival.

Nathan Jacques

Sound Mixer

Nathan Jacques is a boom operator and sound mixer trained in audio production and sound design at Emerson College. With over 7 years of experience in the field, Nathan has worked in almost every medium of entertainment in the industry. Nathan has captured sound for features, TV shows, web series, documentaries, and high profile BTS for films like The Nun and The Greatest Showman.
